Join us for a group tour of the Demeter Certified Biodynamic farm, Abbondanza! The owner, Daniel D'Agostini who's family has passed down the farm from generations, will be our guide to talk about the history of “organic” and "Biodynamic” farming as a necessary counterpoint to the current “chemical/conventional” farming methods, so prevalent today. He will also present the value of Nettles to humans and plants and offer an opportunity for participants to help him make a special Biodynamic preparation from the Nettles that will compost in the ground for one year. Finally, the tour will end with a luncheon that will be created from the gardens of Abbondanza.

Come learn about Biodynamic farming, how it benefits us, and enjoy a luncheon with produce reaped from the bounty directly from the Abbondanza farm!
