Jessica Santos, FNP
I received my BSN and MSN at University of Arizona. Practicing 8 years in Urgent Care in family and pediatrics. I have been functionally trained and practicing for two years. Specializing in Family Medicine, with an emphasis on disease prevention through health promotion, I directed my focus towards Functional Medicine from the traditional medical model after realizing Functional Medicine aligned more with my core beliefs in healthcare by treating the patient not the diagnosis and finding the root cause of the illness and disease. I look to help patients find answers and assist them reach their ultimate health goals.

The beauty of being in a healthcare position is that when something starts to go wrong in any of the multitude of body systems we have, we search to find that “reset” button and work our way back to health. I understand that sometimes it is hard to believe that something as simple as a lifestyle choice we are making can impact our health so greatly, but it is simply amazing to learn our own personal recipe for health, and that it is always available to us to revisit when something isn’t going quite right. Every single symptom or constellation of symptoms is different in every single patient. This truly is individualized medicine, so finding that perfect combination for each patient is challenging and very rewarding.
